Stimulus Check (Economic Impact Payment) Update and Scam Alert



The Internal Revenue Service ( IRS) announced that it is pushing back the deadline to file for you stimulus check AKA economic impact payment to November 21, 2020 at 3pm.

If you have not:
1.) Filed your taxes or
2.) Received a stimulus check (economic impact payment)
3.) Registered with the IRS for your stimulus payment ( economic impact payment)

You should visit www.irs.gov/eip before November 21 2020 to register to apply for your payment.

You should also be on alert to all the scams that are taking place. Many of these Stimulus scams are groups of scammers who are calling, emailing and texting people telling them they are eligible to get the stimulus in exchange for sometime of extreme payment or percentage of a person stimulus payment. Also many of these scammers are taking peoples money and keep it for themselves.

Remember, the IRS does not usually call, text or email taxpayers out of the blue.
