Tempe chamber, Wells Fargo offer grants for Black women entrepreneurs

A $100,000 grant opportunity for Black women entrepreneurs has opened to allow business owners to develop and grow their operations.

The Tempe Chamber of Commerce Foundation and Wells Fargo are collaborating to offer the grant fund, according to a release.

Applicants can apply online at https://tempechamber.org/grants/. The deadline is 5 p.m. Sept. 23.

“The Black Women in Business Supportive Grant will be awarded to qualified applicants to advance the growth of businesses in Greater Phoenix while addressing systemic issues affecting access to capital for Black women business owners,” the release stated.

The grant will be administered by the Tempe Chamber of Commerce Foundation in partnership with Wells Fargo. Awards of $5,000 to $15,000 will be provided to selected applicants from the $100,000 funding pool.
