1. Delegation and Ego
– Delegation is being able to share the work among others and give others power also
– It’s the only way how a principal can run an entire school
– The answer is he or she doesn’t. ( Principles has teachers, Counselors, head students, secretaries, and a board )
– And the same thing applies to business, you cant do it on your own

Here is what I learn:
– Ego Stops us from hiring people a lot of times, thinking that you are the best person for the job
– But you have to hire A players, the best people to help you with the task that is not vital to your business
– This way you can focus on the vital parts

Let me be honest for example and Fully transparent:
– As a YouTuber, the most vital task for me is to create content every single day
– What’s not vital is me making thumbnails, editing videos, and reaching out to companies, or answering a ton of emails
– If I hire an editor, social media manager, and someone to help with customer services and sales ( I can create 3-10 videos a day )

Guess what also:
– This will increase the revenue of the business by a lot also
– Because it allows me to focus on the important stuff
– Making content, talking to you guys, and learning every day
– So that’s one of my goals for this year

Now Obviously:
– I can do this today, but I couldn’t have done this when I first started
– There was no money for that
– But once the business does money, it’s important you hire people that are better than you

I love this quote
– Hire people that are smarter than you
– If I can edit better than my editor then that’s a problem
– If I know more about marketing than my marketing expert, that’s a problem
– People you gotta hire the best ( and the best come free because they make all the money over and over again for the business )

Ps. Remember, when you’re the leader you set the paste and make the hard decisions.

2. If you Don’t love it, leave it ( but you’ll hate 95% of it anyway )
– This means in order to find out what you like and love, you’ll have to try things out. And you’ll know when you find a passion
– And like warren says, if only you need it then its hobby, and if the world needs it then its career
– However if hate something but its pays well, it might not be best sometimes

But also: here part 2 to this
– I don’t love all the things that come with being a youtube
– I don’t like all the lies I see, I don’t like waking up at 4:30am to do videos and reading 1-4 hours every day.
– But I love posting a video, the final work, and getting comments or one view, saying Tommy this helps. ( 95% of it I don’t like, but that 5% it makes me cry )

Remember
– It’s not what you do, it’s about who and why you do it for
– Remember where you want to go and say not the things that don’t get you there
– This goes for lawyers, and people that do great work but think they are going to love it 24/7. Focus on who and why you do it.

3. Stop Digging Shallow Holes
– Read one good book 30 times over
– As a Youtuber, I read a book a week to keep giving you guys good information
– But as an investor, I only read 5 books, over and over again

I hate this:
– When someone is on track and they see another video with a scammy guy
– Saying this way is better, because it faster and if you’re smart you can get there ( just buy my course )
– But then you fall in a trap, that’s why I make so much content. That’s why I have to make my own course.
