Now I didn’t grow up with a staple father figure, so when I read this book, it made me realized things that I never got the chance to see. Usually, I stay within business books, money-related books, recently more marriage-related books. But I’m glad I found this book.

1. Finding your Purpose and Being Honest
– In the very beginning of the book the author forces you into an exercise of reflection
– And to reflect on your fears and why you are scared of whatever you are scared of
– He says whatever you are scared off, be honest with yourself about it, and then lean into your fears

For example:
– Everyone should do at least 1 hour a day of what they really want to do in life
– To reveal to themselves if its something they really want to do or if its just BS
– And although its scary, its an important step to make

Tip: I like how this book has answers for my thoughts and actions, that I was not aware of.

2. What Real Purpose Driving work is
– I was talking to my fiancé yesterday and told her, in the book they talk about how everyone has a gift to give and that’s your job
– And she said she heard a speech by Denzel Washington
– And it made me realize how a lot of the people that I like up to, Warren Buffet especially usually says the same exact things

The idea of Purpose Driving work:
– Is finding your gift and giving it to the world
– And it’s not about having the fattest bank account but being purpose driving especially when you have masculine energy
– And the only way to find what it is you want to do, is to try a lot of things, and once you find it you will know

Tip: Don’t quit your job instantly when you find it, give it time to become financially stable, and then you can quit. ( purpose work can be being pastors, great father, and husband, it’s finding it what it Is for you )

3. Guy Friends and Girl Friends
– Its interesting in the book the author says if you hang around your girlfriend, wife or fiancé and only her
– You two will start to rub off in each other in the worst ways
– Now this isn’t to say not to spend quality time together, but spending time only with them can become a problem.

The Solution:
– Its for her to have time with her girlfriends at least once a week and the same thing with you and your guy friends
– And not just spending time wasting time, but telling your friends what going on in your life, and asking them for advice and holding you accountable also
– But when you this it allows you to be more your true self

4. Motivation for Masculine and Feminine ( Challenging and Positive affirmation for Feminine )
– This is also extremely important because it lets you know the different ways to motivate people

Personal Story:
– I tried motivating my fiancé now, to do things by challenging her
– And she tried to do the same to me, and I had great success but for her it wasn’t really working
– And its because I was using the wrong technique

Masculine Energy:
– Gets motivated by challenges ( its why when you were growing up, your friends would tell you, I bet you can’t do that )

Feminine: is more through positive affirmation
– It’s why usually females motivate each other by giving themselves positive affirmations
– Girl you look so good in those gyms and that gym is paying off
– While a guy ( would be more like I bet you can’t do another rep)
