The Commission for the Distribution of Funds to Support Women’s Entrepreneurship of the Municipality of Kolašin has announced a public competition for the allocation of grants from the Municipality’s budget, in the total amount of 30.000 euros, intended for women who want to start or improve their business.

A public competition has also been announced for the award of grants intended for the development of youth entrepreneurship, and the total amount of this support is also 30.000 euros.

The competitions are open until July 25, 2025, and women entrepreneurs and companies in which women are founders and executive directors, with residence or headquarters in the territory of the municipality of Kolašin, or entrepreneurs and companies whose founders and executive directors are young people aged 15 to 30, are eligible to participate.

The maximum support for business plans of young people and women is up to 30 percent of the total fund, and it is possible to apply with a maximum of two business plans. However, according to the competition rules, only one will be financed from the local budget.

The Commission announced that priority will be given to plans that contribute to the development of agriculture and tourism, the preservation of cultural heritage, sustainable development and environmental protection, the development of crafts and organic production, and the improvement of sports and physical culture.

Plans related to humanitarian aid, illegal or immoral activities, as well as businesses in sectors that do not meet the conditions for state aid (steel, energy, shipbuilding, etc.) will not be supported.

The application must be submitted in person, with complete supporting documentation in a sealed envelope, at the registry office of the Municipality of Kolašin.

With the decision on the criteria, method and procedure for distributing funds to support women’s entrepreneurship and young entrepreneurs in Kolašin, the amounts for these types of benefits from the local budget were increased this year.
