Totaj: We restored the Performance Grant after many years as a result of work


For the first time in many years, the Municipality of Prizren has managed to win the Performance Grant, one of the most important mechanisms that rewards municipalities for transparency, efficient management and good governance.

The Mayor of Prizren, Shaqir Totaj, emphasized that this success is proof of the municipal administration’s commitment to serving citizens with professionalism and accountability.


“This is a special moment for Prizren. After many years, we managed to secure the Performance Grant thanks to good work, transparency and commitment to accountability. This is the success of the citizens of Prizren, who deserve such governance,” said Totaj.

He added that this grant is just the beginning of a new path for setting higher standards in local governance.

“We will continue to set new records of good governance, making Prizren a model for other municipalities in the country. Our citizens deserve efficient, transparent institutions with a development vision,” said Totaj.
