Upcoming resources fair looks to help those navigating homeownership


MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – An upcoming resources fair in Madison is looking to help new homeowners as they navigate buying a home for the first time.

The City of Madison is partnering with multiple community stakeholders for the Madison Homeownership Resources Fair on Saturday, June 29, at the Urban League of Greater Madison’s Black Business Hub.

The hub is located at 2532 S. Park Street. The event will feature numerous local organizations and will offer resource workshops, such as budget management and down payment assistance.

Those interested can register online here for the topics they’re want to learn more about. City officials say registration is free, but space is limited based on each session.

According to city officials, a light lunch will be offered to those who register.
