Why Hit Songs Make More Money In Streaming



In the CD era, a hit single made as much money as a filler track. But in streaming, each song is individually monetized.

Now that users are able to choose which songs they want to listen to, it’s easier to identify which songs are the most popular. Those songs also become the most valuable.
