Today marks a huge milestone in our journey: roofing starts for our dream home in Africa 🏡✨. We carefully chose the perfect coconut tree 🌴 for strong, lasting roofing timber, a tradition passed down for generations in our countryside building culture.

After a full day of building progress, we came together as a family to prepare a delicious African village dinner made with fresh vegetables, boiled eggs, and ugali (African cornmeal) 🍳🥦🍲 — all cooked over firewood, filling our home with rich, comforting aromas.
