Video Marketing alone is worth it for Photographers to learn to shoot video, if they want new clients. Learning to shoot video also allows you to provide another service and edge out your competition as long as it is something your customers might want.

If you’re a wedding photographer, then being able to offer some video in your package means you have the opportunity to charge more. As a real estate photographer, learning video means you can charge for creating virtual video tours of a property for real estate agents or video marketing for their website.

There is no advantage to learning DSLR video since it is a function of most modern DSLR cameras today anyway.
