5 Scams Taking Over America

I called my mom after making this video, that’s how crazy these scams are.

Now I don’t about you but whenever I would get a bill with tape, or I would tear a bill, I would always try to make that somebody else’s problem. By spending or getting change for it, as fast as possible.

And before you, what about all those big DR that got money eating by rats, and mole, the answer is, most of those people would had a problem justifying that money.

Work from home scam ( deposit fraud check )

I had a friend that saw a job listing on facebook

She went ahead and applied and they told her that they would pay her for the training

But that they would deposit for two weeks instead of 1 week, so she needed to send the other half back

Here what happens when you deposit a dummy check

The bank if it big enough, will clear the check as a curtesy

But once no funds can be found

It will refund the amounts and if you sent money out, they will take the money from your account

Crypto Dms ( with full websites, and you send money to their wallet and see your balance go up, but you can never withdraw )

People build fake profiles with fake numbers and fake emails

And they dm people on the internet offering great investment returns

And they have websites that look real and that update the amounts and everything

For example:

But when you want to take money out, the money is just not their

And the contact stops

Depositing Money to Buy Bonds or Investments from unknow websites ( 700k loss)

Older folks are falling for this

They are looking for bonds, and get offered a 5% coupon when normal rates at the time are only 1%

And then they send the money to the person, to buy the notes and boom gone

Use official government websites:

Use large brokers known by everyone

Don’t try to get more than the market is giving at the moment

I’ve seen people lose 100k,, 500k and 750k

Phone Scams: Car insurance, Medicare

Before I turned 25 these scams didn’t have a chance with me

But all of a sudden I start to think twice about my car insurance and my health care

But more than often you wont be getting these calls

The best things you can do:

When you get these calls is hang up

And call the number on the letter, or on the official website to talk to the person

And whenever you hear about sending money pause

AI Scams ( using voice ai – car accidents, kidnapping and more )

This is ruthless.

They grab your voice and pretend to be you and call a family member

Saying you got kidnapped.

Old lady got called: Grandmom got called, grandson hit a pregnant lady, and he was on the phone ( stole $8000 from her )

Mom got called: her daughter got kidnapped, lost money aslo

Stay calm and be agreeable, and then call the real people and verify everything, and if you can get contact call someone who knows them or the police

Rules to Avoid:

Avoid sending money to people you don’t know

Companies that you only heard about on the internet

Always call directly to the real phone number or go down to the branch
