Pets

In 2021, the average person spent about $770 on pets

And I’ve seen people that literally have had to spend thousands on special types of surgeries for their pets and so on

Me personally I had 2 cats, and gave them both up ( one to a good family, the other to my mom who want the cat )

Now here the thing:

Keeping an animal that lives for 15 years is a big commitment

And its irrisponsible to be broke, but spend $800 a year almost for 15 years

That’s liteally 23k in investments

Obviosuly:

If you can afford to have a pet have it

But if you cannot afford it, then why would have one

Sell your car

I fight this battle daily lol

I really like cars and my friends told me I should buy a rav4 2019 and where I live they go for about 33-40k almost

While I could just buy a hunda civic or corolla for a fraction the price

Again it comes down to this:

The only car you can afford to buy, is the one you can afford to pay for in cash

Anyhting else, you cant afford

You’re Tech

This hard especially for the guys

If you have a ps4, apple watch, nice phone and all this other stuff

Sell it

A lot of things don’t just cost you money but they also cost you time:

Having a $1000 iphone when you can buy liteally

A iphone 8, apple watch 4, and a laptop for that same price

Is super responsible, you can have what you need without spending all the money

Clothes

When I first started to get serios about my finances

I grab my entire closet and sold 80% of all my shoes

And I could have sold more stuff but I wasn’t willing to

But here is a tip:

Look at those trhift store on ebay

They literally sell jeans, shirts and more

Its possible to sell all those things you don’t need

Anything and everything you don’t need lol
