I avoided fast food jobs and cooperate jobs And I was also intimidated by software engineering jobs and more complex careers But my friend change my mind on this ( he said, anyone can learn a skill, and I know people that aren’t as smart as you and they do it; very encouraging) But the reason I regret not going into fast food was: I could have gone to college with some savings And I could work as as waiter too and got some nice tips And I could have learned some interpersonal skills also. Today: No job is beneath me but it doesn’t mean I’ll take any job Going to College instead Trade School or Community College There was a road map but no one told me it I originally had a dream school like everyone else, and they rejected me, because I tested awfully in the SAT, because I put in exactly 0 hours in studying for it I ended up going to some expensive private school Trying to Build Credit I was told in college, no credit then you don’t exist But no one told me, debt is bad, and going to crazy is stupid Its driving with a knife in the steering wheel But I learned this: No credit I can still buy a house And everything else in life I can save up for and pay in cash, which is better Buying a House at an early age I was 24 when I bought a house Not married, no kids and no family obligation of that type I could kept renting for longer Today: Turns out I don’t want to live where I thought I wanted to live. So now the house is for sale, and I’ll be breaking even potentially But for those last 2 years, that’s money that I could had invested and making me more money Buy a house when you need one: I’ll be waiting until I am married And my wife and I are ready to start a family Not investing early enough, I started at 19 However: That normal, when you first start learning you want to try a lot of different things out And that usually means a laot of failing to find what works best for you But honestly if I could do it all over again, I would do it the same, because it’s all that, that gives me the conviction that I have today, to invest the way I do today Not seeing Value in Learning and Reading * PRO TIP* INFORMATION IS EVERYTHING ????1 on 1 Talk + My Budget + Stock Investments???? https://www.patreon.com/tommybryson ????Merch???? https://teespring.com/stores/tommybryson ✅2 FREE AUDIOBOOKS✅ https://amzn.to/2Enayo8¬¬¬ ????M1 FINANCE $10???? https://m1.finance/37SHd4241z-N ????ACORN FREE $5????
