Have you heard about the exciting new Black-owned brewery coming to Charlotte?

Clarence Boston, founder of the popular Atlanta hotspot Hippin’ Hops, is bringing his successful “brew-stillery” concept to the Queen City. This will make Hippin’ Hops Charlotte’s first ever Black-owned distillery – how cool is that?

The Atlanta Hippin’ Hops location brews its own beer and distills its own liquor. Now Boston is sharing the love with Charlotte, which is already Hippin’ Hops’ biggest customer base.

This new venture builds on Boston’s growing presence here. He recently partnered to launch Another Brewery in NoDa last month. Though opening multiple businesses keeps him busy, great partners in Charlotte make it possible.

The new Hippin’ Hops spot will have a 900 sq ft taproom and huge 3,000 sq ft outdoor space for live music events. Local food trucks will provide the eats to pair with Hippin’ Hops’ signature brews and craft cocktails.

Once open, Boston plans to produce 1,800 barrels of beer annually here. This continues Charlotte’s rise as a major beer hub in North Carolina.

After a soft launch on Valentine’s Day, the grand opening is set for February 16. Uptown residents will soon have an awesome new neighbourhood hangout!

So if you’re looking for a new place to hang out, drink, and celebrate Black history month, make sure to check out Hippin’ Hops Charlotte. You’ll be supporting a Black-owned business and enjoying some of the best brews and spirits in town. Cheers! You can visit their website here –  https://www.hippinhopsbrewery.com/
