Streaming star Kai Cenat has become the first person in history to get over 1 million subscribers on Twitch. The big moment happened during his month-long event called “The Mafiathon 3”, which is the third and final version of his yearly subathon.

This milestone was not reached alone. Kai’s subathon turned into a star-studded party, with big names joining in. Reality star Kim Kardashian, musician Ray J, and rap legend Snoop Dogg all came to show support.

According to the stream, Valorant’s official Twitch account gave over 59,000 subs, Snoop Dogg gifted 43,000 subs, and eBay added 23,000 subs. Right after hitting 1 million, Kai gave a heartfelt shoutout to his fellow AMP member Roberto “Fanum”, his home city of New York, and his fans for supporting him through his streaming journey.

The celebration didn’t stop there. In the middle of the subathon, fans were surprised by a special live performance from the recently reformed rock band Linkin Park. They performed right inside Kai’s subathon house, with a smoke machine and instruments filling the room.

Fans react with pride

Fans all over the internet were quick to share their thoughts. One user wrote, “Kai Cenat flexing a million subs like it’s nothing, that’s the grind paying off. Dude admits he was lost at the start of 2025 and didn’t know where he was going, but now he’s sitting on seven digits of clout and thanking God. That’s the blueprint: uncertainty, hustle, prayer, and then domination. The difference between him and 99% of people? He kept moving when he didn’t have the map. Everyone else quits in the fog; Kai pushed through, and now he’s eating at the top table.”

Another fan shared a clip of his speech, saying, “Kai Cenat gives a heartfelt motivational speech after hitting 1 million subscribers on Twitch.”

Others celebrated what the moment meant. One person wrote, “Kai Cenat hitting 1 million subscribers on Twitch is amazing; this is real Black excellence. Also, I’m really not trying to pocket watch, but just imagine how big that bag is about to be, sheesh.”

Another added a note about how much money Kai might be making from this milestone, writing, “Kai Cenat has exceeded 1 million subscribers on Twitch. Each subscriber pays a monthly fee to watch his content, ranging from $6 to $25. This means he could be earning a minimum of $6 million per month. Keep creating content and stay active on your phone!”

A fan even found an old video from 2021 and said, “Kai Cenat previously shared a video of his younger self manifesting his success in 2021… Fast forward to 2025, and he became the FIRST streamer to EVER achieve 1,000,000 subscribers on Twitch.”

What’s next for Kai Cenat?

Now that his biggest dream has come true, fans are waiting to see what Kai will do next. At the start of Mafiathon 3, he had promised that if he ever hit 1 million subscribers, he would shave his head clean.

In a trailer featuring actor Michael B. Jordan, Kai also said he would invite NBA superstar LeBron James to cut his hair. With the record now broken, all eyes are on whether LeBron will show up to keep that promise.
