Managing the condition requires significant time. “You check in from like 8AM., put an IV in you, and they have to order the medicine that day—which takes three to four hours,” she says. “So, you end up there from 8AM to 5PM, it’s literally a whole day in the hospital.”
Even so, Kamara is focused on expansion. “That’s a goal of mine–to do by the end of this year. I want to start with Ivory Coast, then branch out to Nigeria, Ghana, South Africa–definitely South Africa,” she says. “The goal is to build within the culture.”
