Amazon’s stock split is a perfect move, says Finance PhD Dr Boyce Watkins

There are a few interesting financial dynamics behind the decision of Amazon to split it’s stock. The 20-to-1 split is set to start trading on June 6th and there are a wide variety of reasons that this is the right time for Amazon to make this move.

Given the labor issues of Amazon, along with the issues that come with a darkening economy, the stock split is one of many moves that Amazon management can make to keep shareholders happy.
