Black institutions do not fail because they lack culture. They fail because they lack funding and consistent community support.

We are organizing a Cash Mob at the African American Museum of Philadelphia to directly support a Black cultural institution. A Cash Mob means the community shows up and intentionally spends twenty dollars to create immediate economic impact. One hundred percent of the proceeds go directly to the museum.

This event includes access to the Ruth E. Carter Afrofuturism exhibit and a live conversation on the future of Black philanthropy, community investment, and sustaining Black institutions.

If you care about preserving Black history, supporting Black museums, and building long term economic power in Philadelphia, this is how you participate.
