March 13 | 14th Annual Taste of Black CharlestonOn Friday evening, the spotlight turns to culinary excellence at the 14th Annual Taste of Black Charleston, hosted at the Charleston Visitor Center and Bus Shed. This elegant event showcases the Lowcountry’s best chefs, caterers, restaurants and food trucks, offering guests an unforgettable tasting experience.
Participating chefs will compete for $1,000 cash prizes in the categories of Best Display, Best Savory and Best Sweet, while gaining valuable exposure to future clients and partners.This year’s event will feature The Princess of Soul, Ms. Tia Durant, along with the VIP Culinary Suite presented by Heart of the Home. The immersive VIP experience will include live cooking demonstrations by Chef Lamont and Chef Amethys, paired with curated conversations centered on Lowcountry foodways and cultural storytelling.
