Craig Field Airport and Industrial Authority is getting a grant from the state and federal government to reconstruct a taxiway.

Craig Field will receive $1,529,148 from the Federal Aviation Administration and $84,952 from a state grant by the Alabama Department of Transportation or ALDOT.

The airport is set to provide $84,953 in matching local funds for a total value of $1,699,053.
