Today marks another exciting step in our journey of building our dream home in the village in Africa 🏡.
Modern kitchen cabinets installation has officially started, and watching this space slowly come together feels incredibly rewarding. Every detail brings us closer to the home we’ve been dreaming of.
As work continued, we took time to prepare comforting, home-style food the village way 🍽️.
We cooked soft, layered roti chapati, made by gently kneading the dough, resting it well, and cooking it slowly to achieve those beautiful flaky layers. Chapati is a favorite in many homes — filling, comforting, and perfect for sharing.
To accompany the meal, we prepared a healthy blended fruit juice 🥭🍍, made from fresh fruits and blended naturally for a refreshing, nourishing drink that everyone enjoyed.
The highlight of the day was something truly special 🔥🍗 — juicy mud-baked chicken, cooked using a traditional method that locks in moisture and deep flavor. This is a simple recipe that anyone can try at home, using natural seasoning and slow cooking to achieve tender, flavorful chicken without complicated steps.
