Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL)
Also called: Buy Now, Pay Later, BNPL, buy now pay later, pay in 4
A way to split a purchase into a few smaller payments, like 4 payments every two weeks. It feels easy, but missed payments can bring fees.
Example
You buy $120 sneakers and pay $30 now and $30 three more times.
Why it matters
Using lots of BNPL plans at once makes it easy to lose track. Count them as real bills in your budget.
