Grammy-winning R&B artist Eric Bellinger announced a partnership with Hooky, a music startup at the forefront of AI technology.
Bellinger, known for his innovative approach to music, is embracing artificial intelligence (AI) to elevate his creative process and empower fellow musicians.
As one of the first artists to collaborate with Hooky, Bellinger is lending his voice to the platform’s AI models, allowing creators to experiment with new sounds and compositions.
“If you aren’t afraid of it, AI could be your best friend,” Bellinger said in a recent interview with AFROTECH.
He sees AI as a tool that can significantly enhance various aspects of music production, from generating artwork ideas to crafting song titles.
Hooky, co-founded by Grammy-winning producer Jordan “DJ Swivel” Young, is designed to keep artists in control of their work.
Bellinger’s involvement ensures that musicians can maintain ownership of their creations while exploring the new possibilities AI offers.
“I’d rather have control than just see the songs go out without my permission,” Bellinger emphasized.
With 40 albums under his belt and numerous collaborations with top artists, Bellinger is using his experience to guide the next generation of musicians.
Through Hooky and his own label, All Wins Entertainment, he continues to set a blueprint for artists navigating the evolving music industry.
