Grant scores 13 as Duquesne defeats George Mason 59-51


FAIRFAX, Va. — Dae Dae Grant had 13 points in Duquesne’s 59-51 win against George Mason on Saturday.

Grant had three steals for the Dukes (18-11, 8-8 Atlantic 10), who got to .500 in the A-10 after an 0-5 start. Jimmy Clark III scored 12 points while going 5 of 7 from the field and 2 of 3 from the free-throw line and added four steals. Fousseyni Drame had 10 points, including 6 for 6 from the free-throw line.

Darius Maddox finished with 22 points for the Patriots (18-11, 7-9). George Mason also got eight points, six rebounds, two steals and two blocks from Woody Newton. Jared Billups also had eight points and four steals.
