The Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce (GSBCC) celebrated a historic milestone on Saturday as more than 3,000 attendees filled the Savannah Convention Center for the 2026 Savannah Black Business Expo, marking the organization’s first time hosting the signature event at the region’s premier convention venue.
The one-day celebration of Black business, entrepreneurship, and community featured more than 150 vendors, showcasing everything from retail products and professional services to food, fashion, health and wellness, financial resources, and nonprofit organizations. Throughout the day, attendees also enjoyed live performances, fashion showcases, business panels, networking opportunities, and interactive experiences designed to strengthen Savannah’s entrepreneurial ecosystem.
The Expo brought together business owners, aspiring entrepreneurs, elected officials, corporate partners, and community members under one roof, creating one of the largest celebrations of Black-owned businesses ever held in Coastal Georgia.
“This Expo is about far more than one day,” said Moncello Stewart, President and CEO of the Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce. “It’s about creating opportunity, circulating dollars within our community, and demonstrating the incredible talent, innovation, and resilience that exists right here in Savannah. Seeing thousands of people intentionally support Black-owned businesses reminds us that our community believes in entrepreneurship and understands the power of investing in one another. We are building an economy where our businesses don’t just survive, they thrive.”
The Chamber expressed its sincere appreciation to the more than 20 sponsors, over 150 vendors, volunteers, board members, speakers, performers, media partners, and the thousands of attendees who made the event possible. Their collective investment of time, talent, and resources transformed the Expo into a true community celebration and demonstrated what can be accomplished when organizations, businesses, and residents unite behind a common purpose.
Building on this year’s record turnout, the Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce plans to continue expanding the Black Business Expo as a signature annual event that connects entrepreneurs with customers, resources, and opportunities while strengthening the region’s economy.
