Moncello Stewart The Greater Savannah Black Chamber of Commerce will host the annual Black Business Excellence Gala at The Armstrong Center Friday, Nov. 1 at 7 p.m. This signature event is a celebration of the successes, innovation and economic impact of Blackowned businesses in the Savannah metro area. The theme for this year’s gala is Legacy & Innovation, which honors the past while recognizing the myriad contributions of Black, minority and women entrepreneurs in shaping the future. Event highlights include a red carpet reception, an awards ceremony recognizing exceptional entrepreneurs, live entertainment evoking the rich cultural heritage of the Black community, and a silent auction featuring exclusive items and experiences. A gourmet three-course dinner will also be served. “This gala is a joyous celebration of the diversity and dynamism of greater Savannah’s burgeoning business community. Over the course of an enchanting and elegant evening, community members will come together to recognize the vast contributions of diligent business leaders, past and present, while looking forward to a brighter future brought forth by the innovative entrepreneurs and professionals who bolster economic development and create rich opportunities throughout our region. The gala is a unique opportunity to gather together for an unforgettable evening of fellowship, entertainment and community building,” said Moncello Stewart, GSBCC president.
