How to install the water line to your Samsung refrigerator | Samsung US

To attach a water line to your refrigerator you’ll need to purchase a water line installation kit. We recommend one with copper tubing. To get started, shut off the water and unplug your fridge. If this is your first time installing a water line, you’ll need to install the pipe clamp to your water line. Then connect the tubing to the shutoff valve and your fridge. Once the water line is connected, turn the water back on and check for leaks. Dispense and discard the first gallon of water as well as the first two buckets of ice.
