I’m not going to pander the way some YouTuber’s do and “tell you to never give up”, that advice is naive or in my opinion “stupid”. You should never continue something that has become unhealthy for you or that is causing you anxiety or depression. If YouTube starts doing that to you then you should quit YouTube or take a break.

1. If it is interfering with your mental or physical health
2. YouTube somehow negatively impacts your relationships
3. If you are distracted from work/school too much to be effective
4. You don’t enjoy making videos anymore
5. You thought would give you easy fame/money
6. Your content exploits or hurts people or spreads lies
7. You are moving on to another phase in your life/career
8. YouTube accomplished for you what you wanted
9. If you feel YouTube has consumed your whole life
10. You’re doing YouTube for YouTube sake…
