So I’m making this video because I’ve been doing pretty good at waking up consistently between 5am-6:30am ( but for the past week Its been 5am).

1. Why you want to wake up so early ( and be honest to why it is)
– You can bs me and the comments but your cant bs yourself
– You have to be real with yourself and why over and over again
– I ask usually until getting to the 7th why, that’s when the truth starts to come out

Let’s do an exercise:
– Why do I want to wake up early: Because I want to get more things done with my day
– Why do you want to get more things done with your day: because I want to improve my self
– Why do you want to improve myself: because I don’t want any regrets
– Why don’t you want any regrets: because what it did to my Father and friends
– Why do you care about that: because every day I feel like I’m on the edge of making those same mistakes
– Why do you think that: because the minute I stop doing I just go right back to what I’m comfortable with and those are bad and destructive activities
– Why is that important: because I want a full life at the end of this life.
Tip: just asking why once gives you the first layer, but the more you ask you get to the truth. And sometimes it’s ugly but it’s the truth. ( the first I did this exercise with the money I almost cried or maybe I did)

2. Preparation is the First Step to Winning a Battle
– I’ve never seen anyone go to war without a plan ( and that end up good)
– Go take a test without studying ( and always do good)
– Or go tell a girl you like her ( without going through the motions over and over again )
– The point is, preparation is the first step, and you can’t wake up early if you didn’t prepare

For example:
– The most important things is Going to Sleep early the Day prior ( for me I need 8 hours or I turn into a bad person) – for you it might be 6-7 hours you gotta test it out
– You have to have a plan with what you’re going to do when you wake up ( for me that’s a video and the gym and breakfast)
– Make it really hard to not wake up ( use 3 alarms that require you get up from bed ( Download Alarmy, its app that makes you take a picture when you wake up or solve a math problem and it won’t turn off)

tip: it’s all about what you do the day before

3. Step by Step ( but never one step backward)
– If you look me up on youtube, you’ll y subs, good vids, and vids that didn’t go viral
– But I don’t care, my goal is to keep uploading and learning something new every day
– I’ve uploaded 669 videos back to back, every single day ( not including another 1000 with my other channels)

The point is:
– The only way waking up is going to get easy, is by you waking up every day and doing everyday
– And minute you stop doing it ( you’ll lose it )
– You have to stay consistent ( not every day is perfect, but you gotta keep your word)
