I Got Scammed for $70,000 Dollars From Youtube Comments

Now here is why I’m upset, I’ve been on YouTube longer than I haven’t been on YouTube, so I can spot these scammers from a mile away. But One of my subscriber, that watch my content, support my work, and I’ve even spoken to over the phone, got scammed for $70,000 over the period of one year; and truly believed that it was me and when I spoke to him I could feel some anger. ( this entire call was recorded and will be uploaded on the other channel )

1. The story , how it started and what happened in the background

So about two years ago I made a video about this new scam “ called Clout pay”

The idea was simple

You refer people and get $10, down load a simple app get $50 and do some surveys and maybe even get more than that ( after 14 days you can cash out )

The scammed part was, nobody could cash out ( the cash out never came but the apps founders made their money by selling your data, having you fill surveys and download apps )

Why I’m I telling you this story:

Because scammer are like artist, they steal a lot of tricks from each other to create a better scammed

The best thing about clout pay was website, a real website that showed you tangible evidence that you had money and that it was growing

So scammers started using this concept with bitcoin, forex trading bots and more

You deposit a certain amount, the reflects it, it goes up in value and to take the money out you need to deposit some more money or wait 14 days ( obviously you would never get anything )

Remember that famous spam comment on youtube “logan, that would say I want to be your friend:

Well this seem harmless but it was the start of mass produce spam comments that could not be stopped

Scammers used this technology, change the names to ramdom people or the actual creators, and started saying “ dm, telegram me, whatsapp me”

But it doesn’t stop their:

They also build advertising campaigns with gives aways to collect more people

And scam more people

2 The Perfect Scam

So I’ve been talking to my subscribers 1-1 over the phone for over a year now

A year ago in the early stages I get called from this subscriber, let’s call him Delvin

He tells me about his financial problems I offer some boring solutions like, get a budget, pay off debt and save for emergencies

Later that day he gets an DM on Instagram from a @tommybrysonn

Saying would you like to invest with me in forex trading

He goes to my channels and sees a video, saying that forex trading is not a scam but its risky obviously

Now the idea is simple, he deposits money, the bot invest it for him, and reflects the balance

He started out with a small amount money, $700-$1,500 dollars I think it was

But the money get going up in the account, so he kept investing
Over a year he had invested over $70,000 and felt like that would be enough

So he wanted to make a withdraw ( but to withdraw you need to deposit more money )
