So, this is probably the craziest video I have ever done. A few hours ago, if you told me to let a computer pick my investment for me, and that it would beat the market, I would slap you in the face, until I read this mystery blue book.

This book was written by an investment manager that has earned 40% since 1985, the s&p makes around 8-12% on a good year. And this guy promised a magic formula that has two pieces of information that get you to beat the market without any problems. (I instantly called BS honestly, then he showed the stats 17 years investing with the magic formula would have made you 30.8%, instead of the S&P 500 12.4% (1988-2004)

I’m not going to talk about compound interest because it’s boring, you know the idea that your money keeps compound and growing more and more each year. Or that 10k at 30.8% compounded for 17 years is 960k instead 72k with the S&P

1. Every One has Secret Formula or Strategy (I’m a big fan of warren Buffet, Bejamin Graham, john C bogle and all of these guys especially peter lynch)

The Formula

-You are looking for 2 things that make a big impact in selecting companies

-And you can find all these companies by using free screening software

-And means a computer to find the companies for you lol

How Does this Formula Work in the Real World

-The idea is not to buy 2-3 stocks that are highest in the ranking

-But the idea is to buy 20-30 stocks, in order to get the average of this magic formula

-But that’s not all you don’t buy all the stocks at once and you don’t keep them for more than a year and a few days on average (you have to keep selling and buying them)

If you do this with a retirement account: No problem

If you do this with a taxable account: sell the loser before the one-year period to save on taxes and save the winners a few days after the one-year period to save money

Lastly when you buy these investments: you buy 5-7 every few months and that’s it

Step by Step How to Use it

Step 1: Go to https://www.magicformulainvesting.com/

Step 2: Market Cap 50m, 100m, 200m or even 1Billion

Step 3: Pick the Top Ranked Stock 5-7

Step 4: Buy 5-7 stocks: 7 every 3 months or 4-6 every 2 months until you have 20-30 stocks (with obviously 20-33% of your available money for investing)

Step 5: Repeat step 4 every 2-3 months until you invest all the money and have 20-30 stocks (should take 9-10 months)

Step 6: Sell winners a few faster one year period and sell lossers a few days before to offset tax liability (buy some top ranked at the time with the money you made of equal amount)

Step 7: Continue for 3-5 years whether you make money or lose money

Step 8: Write the author a letter thanking him after 17 years

5. My Thoughts

-And the real question that arises is are you willing to take this risk (because past performance is going to guarantee it keeps working “my opinion not the authors “)

So, for this I would follow the 90-10 rule

-Put your money 90-80% into the boring average stuff

-And put the other 10-20% in the magic formula (if does good great and if doesn’t well you still have money)
