There’s a strong case to be made for Cash Money as hip-hop’s best record label ever. Co-founded by Birdman and Slim in New Orleans, the label has left its imprint all over the game for three decades. With the likes of Drake, Juvenile, Lil Wayne, Nicki Minaj, commercial success has been just as regular for Cash Money as cultural success.
