The Stash Investing App, is it scam or is not and do I recommend it “No referral Key”

In this video I’m going to cover all of that plus the cons and the pros, so make sure you stick around till the end. I want to clarify this is a video on the Investment app not the debit card portion, if you want that video comment down below, ill make it tomorrow.

What is the Stash App:
It’s an Investment app that lets you invest in the market and buy fractional shares, and also gives you cash back in stocks. On top of that it also allows you invest in some ETF. And if you don’t know what that is, I made a video on it, I’ll link it down below. Just to clarify this is a video on the investment portion, not the debit card

Why would you Invest with The Stash App: Three reasons
1. No trading fees
2. Fractional Shares
3. Low Entry fee it’s only 5$ to start

is The Stash App a Scam Pros and Scam

Pros To Stash App

1. Ability to customize portfolio and pick what you like
2. Low monthly fee of $1 ( still high ill explain in the cons )
3. Small minimum investment of $5
4. Scheduled investments
5. Roundups
6. Smart stash: automatically tracks and saves when you can afford it
7. 500k SIPC protection
8. Transfer from your bank to stash are pretty much instant but sometimes may take 3 business days
9. Dividends are received in cash and then can choose to reinvest
10. 9:45am and 3:30pm EST. Two trading windows
11. Education and support

Cons oF the Stash App Investing App

1. The management fee is expensive .25% over 5k Compared to acorn .25 once you hit a million
(example Calculation)
– My example: this is a lot if you’re investing for the long run and I invest 500 bucks monthly
2. 10 per day deposit limit
3. Required to keep 10% or 5$ of your investment when selling to make sure they don’t sell more than you have
4. High fee on low balances ( imagine you have $300 and your being charged $1 a month that’s around 4% a year in fees. A LOT OF MONEY)
5. High ETF expense ratio ( but they included into the prices you see, when buying) .10-.77
My Vanguard SP500 expense ratio is .03%
6. Advertising Hype: Example we tech ETF, weed ETF, and this and that but they don’t tell you the hidden fees.

Alternative:

Acorn, sofi or even M1 investing and I have videos for all of them on the channel. So feel free to watch does reviews
