Local nonprofit awards grants to 11 Cincinnati businesses


CINCINNATI (Cincinnati Business Courier) – Main Street Ventures has announced its latest round of grants, and 11 Greater Cincinnati businesses – including a health care tech firm, a skin care clinic and a Campbell County organic farm – have landed equity-free funding from the nonprofit to help grow their businesses.

In total, Main Street Ventures awarded $145,000 during its fourth-quarter grant cycle. The allotment puts the nonprofit over the $450,000 mark for all of 2024, funding that helped support 30 small businesses for the year.

That’s a drop from 2023, when Main Street Ventures awarded more than $1.1 million in grants to 64 companies. Sean Parker, Main Street Ventures executive director, still called it a transformative year.
