Watching this will help you understand the evolution of the logo from the sketchbook to digital execution. I produce all of my logo design work using Adobe Illustrator. Illustrator or another vector program like Corel Draw will let you produce high quality scalable logos.

By watching the steps I’ve taken you will see the logo design process in action and how even a simple logo can have small subtle and complex elements behind it.

Keep in mind that even though this logo was done over the course of roughly 30 minutes I did have a sketch to work from and I did make some refinements to the final version. This is because there was no client revision process and I only had to satisfy myself with it’s creation, and the fact that I had a sketch to work from beforehand.

A typical logo design will take you considerably longer than this in most cases, even if it is a simple wordmark logo design concept.
