Food is something we need like 100% if you don’t believe me go 3 days without eating and then lets argue, but its also very expensive if you don’t know how to shop. When I first started living on my own and doing all the grocery shopping, I was spending so much money, and when I tried to go on a budget the food would last, I had so many of those moments when you open fridge and all you see is condiments.

Today though I’ve gotten a lot more scientific, about grocery shopping, health and fitness and also surprisingly this saves me a lot of money. I lost 52lbs by doing this, and I’ve never felt this good, and I’m always full.

Now before I give you my grocery list I have to warn you, I had a friend he hates cooking and he eating a lot everyday, when he started doing the math he was spending nearly 200-300 a week on eating out. EAT AT HOME, it can literally make you rich.

Crockpot: $32 ( this is the best investing I’ve made. I made Ribs, Barbacoa beef, shredded chicken and looking into more recipes but its set it and forget it )

Costco: $60 ( I rather buy in bulk than little by little, and it saves me money too. It comes out to be around $5 a month )

Cookbook: Free to very expensive (I have an anabolic one from Couch Greg which is a YouTuber, its expensive but there are a bunch of free ones online) – Cooking is science, I know grandma but love into it but it’s not that complicated

Maintenance Calorie or deficit or surplus: right now I eat about 2400 calories per day ( to get to my goal weight of 155 but to maintain I can eat 3000) roughly 72,000

1. As Far as What I buy and What it Cost

I eat about 3-5 times day

Breakfast, lunch, dinner and two snacks

Breakfast: Pancakes or French Toast

Egg whites: $9.50 and I buy two and it last me about 2 weeks ( per month its like $40 )

Regular white Bread: 2 pack and last me about 2 weeks ( $11 )

Condiments: Cinnamon, artificial sweeteners and vanilla extract

Syrup no Sugar: 2 of these a month so like $6 a month

Obviously for pancakes: you need protein powder to help with the mix and some baken soda ( so its not really that much money, and I spend $55 o protein powder and it last me about 2-3 months )

2. Lunch I have a turkey Wrap or eggwhite sandwich or meal prep

Wraps: $4 and they last me about week, so like 16 a month

Turkey I pay $10 at Costco for 2lbs

Lettuce or spinach I have both

Cheese mozzarella: Big bag at Walmart

Meal Prep:

Potatoes or Rice ( I try to avoid rice, because I cant have a lot of it )

Beef or Chicken: I spend about $20 on a bag of chicken breast 10lbs and that last me about month and the beef is like $30 because I like a nice cut

Tuna: that’s like $15 for like 12 I think

Pizza cauliflower

3. Dinner

Protein shake, Protein Ice cream, popcorn, toasted corn

Snacks:

A lot of carrots

A lot of blueberries
