NEW HAVEN, Conn. (WTNH) — Innovation and beauty can come from a number of places, including a vibrant event that showcases Black-owned businesses.
New Haven’s own Black Wall Street Festival is the floral inspiration behind this week’s discussion with Alisha Crutchfield from BLOOM New Haven. Crutchfield joined Kathryn Hauser and Ann Nyberg to talk about how supporting small, local businesses can be an act of community bloom.
Taking place this weekend on the New Haven Green, this year’s Black Wall Street Festival will feature over 200 vendors. It will showcase Black-owned businesses, creatives and entrepreneurs from across Elm City and beyond.
