While the WSJ article on PewdiePie took things out of context, there are real business consequences to how you behave online. This is not about PewdiePie and Free Speech. YOUR YOUTUBE MONEY IS AT STAKE HERE… YouTube is a Business. Disney Dropping PewdiePie was a Business Decision. YouTube Cancelling Scare PewdiePie was a Business Decision.

What it means is that what PewdiePie does, impacts all YouTube Creators’ ability to be successful on this platform.

If you want to be a full time YouTube creator, I encourage you that before you take sides, or rally against YouTube, Google and Disney, that you realize, that due to this issue, Advertisers and Brands may hesitate to work with YouTubers…
That means you will make less money…
