1. Why Do videos – If the answer is to become rich and make a lot of money ( that’s a valid answer) – But youtube is more about what can your videos do for people – So if all you care about is money, the 1000 subs and 4hours of watch time are most likely going to keep you from making videos at $0 an hour for over a year sometimes even more
My answer is simple: – I think people just need a spark to get them started – So if they find my videos and that sets them on this path of financial freedom – Then I have done my job
2. My Strategy: How can I Help one Person a Day and also Grow at the same time and also make money – By making a video every day and by learning every day
Step By step: How do I make a video a day and where do find ideas: – I do it the same way PewDiePie does it – You go on youtube look for the most popular videos – Then you create your own version of it
When I first started: – I created a list of the 10 top people in my niche for example finance – You graham Stephan, meet Kevin, Nate, Ask Sebby, My rich Journey and few other people ( and worked backward if I want what they have, what type of person do I have to become: then I remove the things that didn’t fit in that picture) – So example once you go to my channel and see the top videos, don’t watch the videos, just start working backward and finding all the information, read the comments to find gaps in the videos – This way you know there is an audience for that video and also answered questions that Tommy didn’t answer
Ps: I learned this strategy from a Ph.D. workshop I participated in when the task was to create a research paper, and I thought we had to start from scratch and they said that would mean you neglecting all the great work that came before you which is dumb. Your job is to find gaps in the work and fill them in.
Growth: – Now obviously if you do this correctly and you post a video daily, you will start helping people and also growing – But also by making videos about comments you get – And little things also that people have questions about – Remember youtube is not like Instagram where everyone that follows you can see all your pictures, it’s more like google where people only find what they are looking for. ( your job is to pop up every time they have a question within or niche)
3. How I make money – You should always be aware of how money works on youtube and with whatever you do
Youtube works like this: – You get paid a certain amount of money per 1000 views ( CPM) – Every channel is different because different advertisers are willing to pay more or less ( finance channels get a lot of money) – So my CPM can be anywhere from $20-50 per 1000 views – Meaning that if I get a million views a month, that’s between $20k-50k a month ( last month I made 30k) – but that could change
One Tip is this: – Focus on adding value to people live every day ( whether its making laugh, get better at a game or learning about money ) – Be yourself, and if you get one comment videos then respond to that one comment – If you get 1 view and its aunt, keep posting you’re doing good.
