Nasdaq pushes companies to diversify their boards – but there's a dark side to this

Nasdaq just made an announcement that they are now going to require corporate boards to become more diverse. The decision by Nasdaq is a good one for the “unwhitening” of America, but black men will likely be left behind.

Nasdaq probably doesn’t care much about my assessment on these matters, but terms like “diversity” become feel-good dog whistles that typically include women, people of color and members of the LGBTQ community.

Heterosexual black males are not typically included in these assessments.
