The Guapify Community
Guapify’s mission is to make financial understanding more accessible through community, conversation, and shared experience.
We believe money shouldn’t feel confusing, isolating, or out of reach. Real understanding comes from asking questions, hearing different perspectives, and learning alongside others who are navigating a similar journey.
Guapify brings people together to talk openly about money in a real and relatable way. By sharing knowledge, experiences, and context, the community helps turn curiosity into clarity and information into confidence.
Join the Guapify community and learn to make money moves that help you level up.
CJ Harris
Founder and CEO, Guapify
I didn’t create Guapify because I had all the answers. I created Guapify because there was a lack of clear, culturally relevant information — and safe spaces for us to talk about money.
For a long time, money conversations either ignored Black communities entirely or spoke around us — using language, assumptions, and advice that didn’t match our energy. There was plenty of chatter, but very little clarity.
My background spans finance, media, and community-building. Whether I was at HBO, BET, or CNBC, my mission was always about repping for the culture. My superpower was giving our people a seat at the table—hiring Black talent and opening doors for folks who just needed a shot. What I’ve learned is simple: access matters, but understanding matters more. And we need to understand money.
I’m not here as a financial advisor or a guru. I’m here as a curator of conversations, a connector to credible voices, and an advocate for financial clarity in the Black community.
Guapify is an invitation to stop guessing about your finances, to stop carrying money questions alone, and to build confidence around becoming financially free… together.
I’m glad you found your way here. Let’s get this guap!
