PHOTOS: Youth Farmers Market seeds future generation of entrepreneurs in Salmon Arm

13 young vendors joined the regular market Sept. 13
Young entrepreneurs took over the Ross Street Plaza in Salmon Arm on Saturday morning with the annual Youth Farmers Market.

On Sept. 13, approximately 13 kids joined the regular market with their produce, baking, art and various creations, including some very popular golf ball ladybugs. The young vendors interacted with customers, explained their wares and handled cash with the ease of seasoned sellers.

The young talent filled the market, which ran the usual hours of 9 a.m. to 1 p.m., with eager customers out to support the next generation of growers, artists and creators.
