The apple stock split makes the Dow Jones average even less meaningful



Since Apple decided to split it’s stock, everyone has taken notice.

The company has done extremely well during the pandemic and Apple shows no signs of slowing down.

But one thing that isn’t being mentioned very much in media is the fact that the Apple stock split is going to significantly change it’s weight in the Dow Jones industrial average.

This means that apple, one of the most lucrative stocks on the market, is not going to be valued as heavily in the Dow Jones industrial average.

This means that other indexes are probably better indicators of how your stock portfolio is doing.
