By the summer of 2021, in the midst of the coronavirus pandemic, millions of employees walked away from their jobs in what quickly became known as the Great Resignation. Feelings of burnout were listed among the leading reasons for this trend and many employees even found themselves quitting suddenly and angrily aka rage-quitting.
