The Joe Biden-Kamal Harris administration is recommending the Drug Enforcement Agency reclassify marijuana as a lower-risk drug, moving it out of the same category as heroin, LSD, and ecstasy. The Department of Health and Human Services is recommending the DEA remove cannabis from schedule I to schedule III, potentially the biggest change in federal drug policy in decades.
