Thoughts on Graphic Design Contest and Crowdsourcing
Graphic Designers enter design contest hoping to get clients or promote their graphic design work. Graphic Design contests never really work out in the long run for graphic designers in my opinion.

I’m not a fan of Graphic Design Contest and Crowdsourcing sites for many reasons. I don’t think Design Clients or Designers are getting the value they want from the experience, I feel that the only real winners in these scenarios are the Design sites themselves.
I don’t mean to attack anyone on either side that are using these sites for the convenience, however I feel that once you reach a certain point you should expect and demand more… its like living on fast food. I don’t think it is good in the long term for businesses to operate this way with creatives and if the roles were reversed businesses could not sustain themselves.
