INSPIRATION AND MOTIVATION TO BE CREATIVE
People often ask me what motivates me, or why I teach other people about creativity and how to compete with me in what I’m doing. I feel like I don’t have a choice.

I’m so grateful that others were patient with me and shared the things that they loved with me, and the difference that made in my life. I’d feel guilty if I didn’t pass on what I learned, what they gave me. It is a gift that demands to be given to others.

WHAT INSPIRES ME IN LIFE AND CREATIVITY
If I can inspire or motivate one creative person to keep going, to dig deeper to keep creating in a cynical world that tells them it’s not practical, then that is a good day for me. It’s a win.

I draw my inspiration in life from the notion that today I can create something new and fresh and turn my thoughts into things. I get my inspiration from knowing that by teaching others I’m literally bringing new life into the world, and possibly making it better.

Worried someone can compete with me? Good! It will motivate me to work harder, to become a better artist and craftsman. I can take it, I’m excited by it. All I want to do is work harder.
