1. You don’t understand money

– you don’t want money you want to be able to get the goods and services you want, and the only way to get the pieces of paper is to start serving

– If you have a cow and I have a car, would that be an equal exchange or goods, probably now

– So to make a lot of paper you have to provide service that meet that level of paper

If you want an extraordinary income then you have to do extraordinary things; but people working at McDonald’s or some office job with a bunch of people, and they wonder hay o don’t make more. You know why

2. 2. You don’t understand time

– The government thinks in cycles or 4 years

– Most people think in cycles or weeks ( paychecks )

– You have to think in cycles or decades

– If you can invest one dollar and get back 4 in perpetuity for the rest of life would that be a good investment ( skill )

– If you can event 1$ and get 12cents a year over 30 years ( is that good )

– My point is the time is going to pass but you need to have a long-term mindset

3. 3. You don’t understand probabilities and cost of opportunities

– Buying a lottery ticket is cheap and the odds of you winning are low but if you don’t play you don’t win

– Wrong, if you don’t place you can win somewhere else, play games where you have an advantage

– Most of the people that play the lottery are broke, they spend an average of $400 a year on them

4. 4. You don’t understand the value of knowledge

– rich people have books about how they got rich

– People with good marriages tell you how they did it

– People that were fat tell you how they changed it

It used to be that we all would say knowledge is boring

– but because people get paid for it now

– You can go on YouTube and learn any topic from anyone you choose

– Knowledge is the great equalizer and one book can save you years of anguish

5. 5. You don’t value time

– we all think we have enough time because we don’t know how much time we have left

– But if like was like the fuel ⛽️ gage in your car and you knew how many miles you had left

– You would waste that time going to places that didn’t benefit you or made you happy

6. You don’t value consistency and compound interest

– one person puts an egg in a basket for 30 years and now have enough eggs for 2 generation

7. 7. You waiting for things to change

– thing only change for you once you start to change : the difference begins with you

– Imagine being married and waiting for your spouse to change so you can change, it’s stupid

– You have to begin to change first and then your results will change and then just maybe people around you might change
